The Farm Animals Veterinary Centre was set up in Hanoi at the end of 2009. In addition to providing services and inputs for animal health, it also advises farmers on many aspects of livestock farming. The FAVC consists of a team of 10 veterinarians working with pig, poultry and dairy farmers. We offer the best, friendliest and most transparent services available to livestock farmers, animal feed producers, pharmaceutical companies and research institutions. Our main focus is the management of animal diseases - prevention, farm visits, necropsies, laboratory analyses, diagnosis and treatment. Our team also provides advice on overall farm management - building design, nutrition, biosecurity, performance monitoring etc -and research activities - field trials to assess feed and medicines, prevalence of diseases etc.
